During the fire in a garage, firefighters saved a car and prevented the explosion of a gas cylinder

Yesterday, the Rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in a garage on Zhayvoronkova street in Khust.

To eliminate it, two crews of firefighters of the 10th State Fire and Rescue unit of Khust were sent at the scene.  In total, 8 personnel members and 2 vehicles were engaged.

Upon arrival, it was found out that there was a vehicle and a gas cylinder in the garage. The latter could explode at any moment. To prevent the tragedy, firefighters took the cylinder out of the building and pushed out the vehicle to a safe distance. Then, they began extinguishing the fire.

According to preliminary data, the material damage caused is 2,000 UAH, because the fire destroyed and damaged 36 square meters of the roof and some of the property in the garage.

Most likely, the fire was the result of careless handling of fire.

Nobody was injured or killed.
