During a year, Transcarpathia reduced gas consumption by almost a third

In 2014, Transcarpathian significantly reduced consumption of gas and electricity. 

Thus, the economical use of energy was introduced at public institutions that are funded from local budgets.

During just a year, natural gas consumption in hospitals, schools, cultural institutions reduced by 29% (from 26.3 to 18.7 million cubic meters).

Electricity consumption fell by 7.2% (from 63.6 million kW to 59 million kW).
