On Wednesday, around 11:00, during a joint raid, Uzhgorod patrol policemen and officers of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region stopped a truck "Tata", which was carrying sand and gravel. The truck was stopped in the village of Tarnivka in Uzhgorod district.
The driver provided a bill of lading issued by a private entrepreneur. However, law enforcement officers doubted the validity of the document.
At the same time, patrol policemen and officers of the Security Service of Ukraine Office left to the village of Storozhnytsia in Uzhgorod district. Near the bed of the Uzh river, the police found a man-made pit in which an excavator was mining sand and gravel.
The man who has uploading the mixture had no permits for mining.
The patrol policeman called the investigative group, which seized the documents. The truck "Tata" with the cargo was taken to the impound lot. The equpment that was used at the quarry was also arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
