The person, who stabbed a resident of the village of Zubivka, has been identified.
According to the Main Office of the National Police of Transcarpathia, on June 15, at 13:00, Mukachevo district police station received a report about a wounded man. The victim was a 37-year-old resident of the village of Zubivka. Doctors diagnosed him with a penetrating stab wound.
Investigators, together with officers of the criminal police and the response team, identified the attacker and the circumstances of the incident.
The police suspect a 59-year-old neighbor of the victim. As the police found out, there was a fight between the men, who were both drunk.Then the older man took a knife and stabbed the neighbor in the stomach.
The man with a penetrating knife wound was taken to Mukachevo Central Hospital.
Now the police are finding out all the circumstances and cause of the crime. Investigation has been initiated. The incident was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on the grounds of Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – inflicting intentional grievous bodily harm. The material evidence – knife – was seized.
