During a day, two fatal accidents occurred in Transcarpathia

In both incidents, drivers were killed.

The accidents occurred in Tyachiv district and in Khust, – the Transcarpathian police reported.

On September 29, the police received a report about an accident in the village of Nyzhnya Apsha, Tyachiv district. 

The investigation team found out at the scene that a 28-year-old driver of a VAZ lost control and collided with a tree between the settlements of Nyzhnya Apsha and Hrushovo.  The man died on the spot. A criminal proceeding over this incident was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 286 CCU, that is, violation of traffic rules, which led to the death of the victim.

At night, September 30, a similar accident occurred in Khust. A 24-year-old local resident driving a BMW lost control and ran into a power post. The man died on the way to the hospital.

The Transcarpathian police are establishing all the circumstances of the two fatal accidents, the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police reported.
