Due to discrepancies in the documents, a citizen of Russia lost his goods at the Transcarpathian Customs

Employees of the customs post "Dyakovo" of the Transcarpathian Customs seized goods due to violation of customs rules.

Recently, a Scania truck with a trailer heading through the customs territory of Ukraine from Bulgaria to the Republic of Belarus arrived to the customs control zone of the "Dyakovo" customs post. The driver, a Ukrainian, submitted for the customs control the shipping documents, according to which he was carrying through the customs border prefabricated goods: "knitted fabrics, cloth in rolls, kitchen utensils, household linen, towels, bathrobes, etc." with a gross weight of 20431.45 kg and a total value of 6,435.46 $.

The sender of the goods was a Bulgarian company, which, at the request of a company registered in the United Kingdom by a citizen of the Russian Federation, sent goods to a Belarusian company.

During the review of the shipping documents submitted for the customs clearance, it was established that the imprint of the company’s seal and the signature on the invoice and on the specification were made using copying equipment. It was also established that the address of the company specified in the shipping documents did not match with that found in the open sources online.

Thus, the citizen of the Russian Federation committed actions aimed at moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealing them from customs control by submitting the customs authority documents containing false information about the description, quantity, value and the sender of the goods.

These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations under Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

Based on Article 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the reports were made, under which the aforementioned goods were seized, their value is being established.
