On July 20, at 12:15, Uzhgorod Railway Transport Directorate reported that an explosive (preliminarily, an artillery shell) of the Second World War period had been found on the railway track of the stretch Beskyd-Skotarske, 1638th km, on the territory of Volovets district. Due to this incident, at 12:10, on the stretch Beskyd-Skotarske, the movement of five trains was stopped: three passenger trains (No.107 Odesa – Uzhgorod, electric train No. 6188 Lavochne – Mukachevo, electric train No. 6187 Mukachevo-Lavochne); two freight trains.
At 12:30, bomb squad was sent at the scene. At 14:15, the bomb squad arrived at the scene.
At 14:20, the squad removed one 76 mm caliber artillery shell of the Second World War period.
At 14:30, railway traffic on the railway track of the stretch Beskyd-Skotarskoye, 1638th km, was resumed.
