“Drunk” accident in Transcarpathia took the lives of young people

According to the Communications Department of the Transcarpathian regional police, the police started an investigation into an accident, as a result of which two residents of the village of Osiy suffered fatal injuries. 
Expert examinations will help establish all the circumstances of the accident. 
Yesterday,  July 5, at about 10:45 pm, in the village of Ilnytsia, Irshava district, as a result of a traffic accident, two residents of the village of Osiy suffered fatal injuries. 
It was established that the driver of a VAZ-2105 collided with a motorcycle Kawasaki. As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver and passenger – 16- ta 20-year-old residents of the village of Osiy – died at the scene. 
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old resident of the same village, was tested. The man was driving in a state of intoxication. He is currently in jail. 
Investigators registered the fatal car accident into the URPI with the classification under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The case is under pre-trial investigation.
