Drug lord in Uzhgorod district (VIDEO)

Today, on August 16, police officers received information that there might be drugs on one of the land plots between the villages of Rozivka and Kholmok.

The police arrived at the scene and found out that on this territory, about one hectare in area, there were lots with marijuana bushes equipped with irrigation systems. In addition, in several abandoned premises, law enforcement officers found hemp stems that were prepared for packaging, as well as a dry narcotic substance packed in special bags and glass cans for preservation. The territory was disguised as farmland and guarded by dogs. Also law enforcement officers found several video surveillance cameras.

During the search, they found 130 kilograms of dried marijuana and 123 stems 80 centimeters to 2 meters 20 centimeters in size.

The owner of the farm has been identified. It was a 51-year-old man, a resident of Uzhgorod district. He was arrested in accordance with Art. 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine, he is suspected of committing the specified criminal offense.

At present, law enforcement agencies are establishing all the circumstances. Preliminary classification is Part 2 of Article 310 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Sowing or growing poppy or hemp).

The investigation continues, the PR department of Transcarpathian regional police reported.
