Officers of the Main Office of the National Police of Transcarpathian region together with officers of the Khust police department successfully completed the operation to detain drug dealers in Khust. The punishment for the criminal activities for the detainees will be determined by the court.
On September 9, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of Transcarpathian region, together with officers of Khust police, conducted the final activities of a scrupulous operation to neutralize the criminal group of drug dealers in the city of Khust.
In order to detain the criminals and gather the maximum amount of evidence, the police conducted a number of necessary searches.
As a result of operational measures, police officers arrested a 39-year-old and a 41-year-old local residents in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. During the last search, the police seized from them packaged drugs prepared for sale, proceeds from the sale of drugs, as well as cars Mercedes-Benz and Fiat. The seized substance was sent for examination.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, sending or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues).
The case will be referred to the court, which will determine the punishment for the detainees.
