Do not go swimming at the quarry – there are grenades there

April 29 at 15:30, the police officers of the regional center reported to the rescuers that on Hranitna Street (local quarry) a suspicious object resembling a grenade F-1 of World War II period had been detected. It was found in the pond by a swimmer at the depth of 15 meters.

To confirm the discovery of an explosive and to carry out preliminary identification of it, on April 30, diving and rescue department of the Special Emergency and Rescue Detachment of the State Emergencies Sevice of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region will be examining the bottom of the water body.
