The World Day of Stray Animals is held annually in the second decade of August. The holiday was founded in 1992 with the support of a non-governmental organization – the International Society for the Rights of Animals (ISAR). It is celebrated in more than 50 countries, on 6 continents. In 2018, the World Day of Stary Animals is on August 18.

Today is the World Day of Stray Animalss…
It is not exactly a holiday, but rather an occasion to draw attention to the existing problem.
This is a day of remembrance, a day of kindness, a day of care!
On this day, be sure to feed a local dog or cat, give them some water in this heat, and maybe even come to the shelter and just give some of your time to some of our animals!
They do not need much! A bit of warmth, care and a delicious bone!)
And we have a lot of plans and work in the shelter for this day!
