Although Transcarpathian florists defined a yellow and blue "duet" as the main floral trend on September 1st, community activists urge Transcarpathians to express their patriotism more efficiently. They suggest to join the campaign declared in some cities of Ukraine – to transfer the funds, planned for a bouquet for teacher, to Ukrainian army.
"Meanwhile, some parents from the educational complex "Prolisok" decided that this year their children would go without flowers.They asked our volunteer to come to the line-up with a donation box. By saving on flowers, each school could buy a bulletproof vest. Bulletproof vest for those guys who some 3-4 years ago were sitting at school desks too – Victoria Zhuyko-Szabo wrote on the page "Uzhgorod" in Facebook. – But Uzhgorod is the city of pacifists, so everyone has to decide for himself.On September 1st, volunteers will be on Teatralna square, come!".
It should be noted that Transcarpathian educators can play a significant part in the initiative, by expressing their understanding. After all, they have repeatedly proved their patriotism, transfering significant amounts to volunteer accounts to pay for necessary equipment for Transcarpathian soldiers.
