Dietary contraband in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Transcarpathian customs officers seized from a Ukrainian 1,000 packages of dietary supplements 
On October 5, a citizen of Ukraine arrived at the customs post "Uzhgorod" by a truck Volvo with a semi-trailer Schmitz and presented to customs officers the necessary documents for crossing the border. 
In the course of the customs control of the vehicle and the personal belongings of the citizen, the customs officers found 40 thousand pills of dietary supplements "Hevert Influtelia" that were not listed in the customs declaration, shipping documents and not declared during the oral questioning. 
The goods were in the sleeping area of the driver’s cab. 
The cost of the undeclared goods exceeds € 500 and requires additional evaluation involving an expert. 
Thus, the citizen failed to provide in the prescribed manner the accurate information about the goods being transported across the customs border of Ukraine in the amount subject to a written declaration and taxation. 
These actions have signs of violation of customs rules under Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. Currently, the report on violation of customs regulations has been drawn up, the goods, namely dietary supplements, were seized.
