Deterioration of weather conditions and rising water levels in rivers are expected in Transcarpathia

Storm warning for the evening of August 18 and the whole day of August 19 was announced by the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology.

According to weather forecasters, in the evening of August 18 and during the day on August 19, heavy rains, thunderstorms are expected in most parts of Transcarpathian region with heavy showers and hail in some places. During thunderstorms, gusts of wind of 15-20 m / s are expected in some places.

Also in the evening of August 18 and during August 19, water levels on the rivers of Transcarpathia are expected to rise by 0.5-1.5 m.

Due to worsening weather conditions, I, "yellow" level of danger was declared in the entire territory of Transcarpathia.
