Details of the car accident invloving a bus near Mukachevo

As a result of the accident, two victims were taken to the hospital. An investigation over the accident has been launched.

According to the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian regional police, in the village of Kolchino in Mukachevo district, the driver of a car collided with a bus.
Yesterday, October 6, the police received a report from the doctors of Mukachevo Central Hospital that they had admitted two residents of the district, who had been injured as a result of an accident in the village of Kolchino.
“At the scene, the investigation team found out that the driver of a VAZ 21099, a 51-year-old resident of the village Kolchino, failed to make way to a bus and collided with him. As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and a passenger of the bus, a 61-year-old woman, were injured, the police informed.
The Mukachevo district police department opened a criminal proceeding over the violation of traffic safety rules under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These vehicles were taken to the police station impound lot. The investigation continues.
