The level of water in the rivers of the region is in the normal range. It will continue to be so.
"There will be a slight increase in water levels in Transcarpathian rivers, but within safe limits. Although, given the relatively warm weather, ice on rivers will be melting, it will not lead to catastrophic consequences" – the head of the Transcarpathian Hydrometeocenter Vasyl Manivchuk said.
"The weather is going to keep improving. While today it is raining all over the region, tomorrow it will be rainy only in Tyachiv and Rakhiv districts. In the rest of the region, precipitations are not expected. In the lower part of Transcarpathia, daytime temperatures will reach +11, and in the mountains – 4-5 degrees above zero" – experts predict.
The Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region confirms that currently no flooding of households and roads in the region has been recorded, and river levels are within normal limits.
