Despite the ban, Kasperov’s office illegally gave away the basements of “The Crown”

Today, December 17, the prosecution of Uzghorod included in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation information on the criminal offence under Part. 1 of Art. 382 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (default in fulfillment of judgment – punishable by imprisonment for a term up to three years) against officials of the Department of Municipal Economy of Uzhgorod City Council. Preliminary investigation has been initiated and controlled by the prosecutor of the region.

Prosecutors found out that, despite the court ban to take any action on concluding a contract of sale and registration of ownership regarding complex "The Crown", officials of the Department of Municipal Economy of Uzhgorod City Council made the decision on registration of ownership regarding the basement of the complex. They prepared and submitted to the Executive Committee of Uzhgorod City Council the appeal for registration of ownership for the basements with total area of ​​over 85 square meters Therefore, December 26, 2012 the city council adopted a decision on registration of ownership for the said property. Thus, the actions of officials of the Department of Municipal Economy of Uzhgorod City Council bear signs of a criminal offense under Part 1 of Art. 382 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – default in fulfillment of judgment.
