Deputies supported Uzhgorod’s accession to the “Association of Open Cities”

Today, deputies supported Uzhgorod’s accession to the Local Association of Local Self-Government Bodies "Association of Open Cities". 
  
The main purpose of the Association’s establishment and activity is to assist local self-government bodies in the development of e-government, e-democracy, to introduce new technologies of communication with citizens, and to create mechanisms of cooperation between local self-government bodies in the implementation of joint initiatives. 
The decision also provides for the allocation of funds from the city budget for the payment of the initial and annual contribution to the Association.
