Deputies proposed to build a new school in Bohdan

The session of the Regional Council supported the appeal of the deputy Hanna Hlukhova to assist in resolving the issue of building a new school in the village of Bohdan in Rakhiv district.

"The existing school in Bohdan was built in the late 19th century. The school buildings are heated by stoves, there are no indoor toilets. The ceiling is crumbling. The school is in disrepair.

In 2012, 86 children were born the village, since the beginning of 2013 – 51. As of July 2013, there are 578 children who are 6 years old and older in the village.

There is an urgent need for the construction of a new school. All necessary project estimates have been performed.

Based on the above, please send this request to the Regional State Administration for consideration and taking appropriate measures," – the request states.
