Deputies are asked to help the Maidan (Appeal)

Regional Council Chairman Ivan Baloha appealed to the members of local councils at all levels of the region.

"For the third week in a row, hundreds of thousands of our countrymen have been staying on Euromaidan in Kyiv. These people rejected apathy, overcame fear, and with a sincere urge came out to the streets for their European future.

I appeal to every one of you with a big request – to help the protesters in the capital. Our fellow citizens need warm clothes and shoes, long term storage food, heaters, firewood, gasoline, prepaid cards for all operators of mobile communication and so on.

I urge you not to be indifferent at this difficult time for our nation.

Donation collection points are at coordinating centers at district and city councils," – Ivan Baloha said in a letter to local councilors
