The exhibition of the owner of the art center "Ilko Gallery" Mykhailo Ilko in Uzhgorod is divided into two floors. It features a series of works created by the artist in 1995, as well as in 2015-2017. And you can see it until February 3.
On the first floor, mostly large photos with portraits of people, still lifes, sketches are displayed.
Instead, the second floor of the "Ilko Gallery" is the "Delirium". Here, you can see bright colors, photo negatives and an installation.
The installation is situated the center of the exhibition hall: trees and a painting of an edelweiss behind. It is a sort of a symbol of what we do on our own. And this installation caused a lot of excitement among visitors – children were wandering in the "forest", adults were taking photographs nearby.
Information. Mykhailo Ilko was born in 1965 in the family of the famous Transcarpathian artist Ivan Ilko. After Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts, he graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute in 1992 and thus made his choice and path in art. In the course of his career, he has won numerous contests, implemented large-scale projects, including a tender for the design of the Eurovision-2005 contest. Currently, he is living and working in Kyiv.
