In the morning, veterans and young combatants, children, public officials and law enforcement officers visited the Monument "Ukraine – to liberators", near the border with Slovakia and the monument "To volunteers of Transcarpathia – participants of the Second World War" on the ​​Cyril and Methodius Square in Uzhgorod. The main event of the day began on the Hill of Glory. People came to the rally-requiem with a lot of children and a myriad of flowers in hands and red poppies on chests.
