Dangerous trip: Uzhgorod residents threatened a man with a cold weapon (PHOTOS)

The incident happened yesterday, November 15. A 43-year-old man appealed to the police and asked for urgent help, as he was fleeing from two attackers. 
The Main Office of the National Police of Transcarpathia reported that the man was driving from the Uzhgorod bus station to Lviv in a car with two people. 
In Volovets district, the driver and his friend stopped the car and, threatening him with a sharp object, demanded money from him. The man managed to get out of the car and escape deep into the forest. Hiding there from the attackers, he managed to call the police. 
When the man was found, he described the criminals and their car. The Skoda Octavia with the driver and the passenger was found quickly. They were a 29-year-old and a 38-year-old Uzhgorod residents. They were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility. 
"The knife and screwdriver with which the robbers threatened the victim were confiscated. Police also found the victim’s personal belongings and his bank cards in the attackers’ wallets. The Skoda Octavia was taken to the impound lot of the Volovets police department," – the police reported. 
Proceedings were opened under Part 2 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code, ie robbery. The attackers face imprisonment for a term of 7 to 10 years and confiscation of property.
