According to the Uniform Planned Schedule of Fitness and Sports Activities in Ukraine, the city of Uzhgorod, Transcarpathian region was granted the right to host one of the most prestigious dance sport classification competitions in 2017 WDSF World Open Standard, WDSF World Open Latin (second rank) which is scheduled to be held on 21-24 of April, 2017, in the Sport Complex "Yunist".
These sports competitions will be judged by a world-class panel of judges from 20 countries and 3 continents, around 2500 best sportsmen of Ukraine, Europe and the world will take part in them.
The Chairman of the Organization Committee of the international dance sport competitions 2017 WDSF World Open is Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, International Judge of Dance Sport, the head of the Transcarpathian regional organization of the Ukrainian Federation of Dance Sport – Myshko Oleksandra.
