The Cycling Center was arranged thanks to a joint project with the Polish sister city of Uzhgorod – Krosno. The process lasted three years. The city Cycling Center is located in Uzhgorod School №5. It is equipped with everything necessary for full operation – office and computer equipment,20 bikes, 10 tents and 10 mats.
The organization, that will be managing the center, was elected at the competition. Four public organizations submitted their propositions for participation in the competition: "Transcarpathian regional organization of tourism", "Bicycle club "Leader", "Uzhgorod city laboratory and public initiative "Night Ride" and NGO "Ungvar center of information and tourism development."
The public organization "Night Ride" won the competition, its representatives were handed the keys by the deputy mayor of the Polish town of Krosno Bronislav Baran.
