Customs officer helping smugglers caught by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Transcarpathia (PHOTO)

SBU officers uncovered a senior customs officer at one of the customs stations of Transcarpathia.

Previously, the man introduced a mechanism of systematic ‘taxation’ of smuggling cigarettes.The senior customs officer was caught in action by SBU officers on January 31st. A local woman was handing over 1700 UAHs as ‘payment’ for 30 blocks of cigarettes.
