“Creator of the Danube”, or how Ukrainian children protect rivers (video)

Celebration of the Danube Day in Transcarpathia this time was attended by more than five hundred participants and guests.

As everybody knows, Transcarpathian river Tisa is a tributary of the Danube, and therefore it is not accidentally that in our region this common European event is called "Tisa – Danube’s younger sister."

At the celebration there were a lot of thematic competitions. We should separately tell you about the "Creator of the Danube" – creative competition, for which all students prepare only their ideas, and then they look for the materials for its realization straight at the river bank. This time the river Borzhava, near which the holiday of Danube was held, was generous with plastic bottles and trash. These were used by the competitors to make original things, which were presented to the jury. See more in the video.
