"During the past day, April 29, 357 people sought emergency medical care, 9 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 7 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.
189 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected. 16 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 6 of them are medical workers. 9 people with signs of acute respiratory infection and 9 persons suspected of having COVID-19, including 5 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 were hospitalized in health care institutions over the past day. Overall, as of 9:00 am on April 30, 2020, 419 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 109 are health care workers and 19 are children. 2476 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out.
No fatalities have been reported among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
