COVID-19, Ukraine, Transcarpathia, Uzhgorod, May 27

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on May 27, there have been 21905 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 658 were fatal, 7995 patients have recovered. During the day, 321 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in: 

Vinnytsia region – 932 cases; 
Volyn region – 814 cases; 
Dnipropetrovsk region – 905 cases; 
Donetsk region – 155 cases; 
Zhytomyr region – 660 cases; 
Transcarpathian region – 1104 cases; 
Zaporizhzhya region – 420 cases; 
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1327 cases; 
Kirovohrad region – 489 cases; 
Kyiv – 2739 cases; 
Kyiv region – 1474 cases; 
Lviv region – 1443 cases; 
Luhansk region – 45 cases; 
Mykolayiv region – 281 cases; 
Odesa region – 853 cases; 
Poltava region – 267 cases; 
Rivne region – 1514 cases; 
Sumy region – 166 cases; 
Ternopil region – 1126 cases; 
Kharkiv region – 959 cases; 
Kherson region – 177 cases; 
Khmelnytsky region – 381 cases; 
Chernivtsi region – 3144 cases; 
Cherkasy region – 393 cases; 
Chernihiv region – 137 cases.  
The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 27, 2020, the Center has received 924 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.

"During the past day, May 26, 367 people sought emergency medical care, 9 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 11 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

387 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

12 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 1 of them is a medical worker, 1 is a child.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on May 27, 2020, 1104 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 248 are health care workers and 71 are children. 10269 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 352 patients have recovered.  

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health

As for Uzhgorod, as of the morning of May 27, 365 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

1 new case of coronavirus has been reported in the past 24 hours.

138 people have recovered  

6 persons have died.
  
19 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 201 are on outpatient treatment.

1 Uzhgorod citizen is in self-isolation 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 15 visits, 81 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 397 visits have been made, 2058 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests.
