COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of October 5 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, October 4, 377 people sought emergency medical care, 20 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 28 were suspected of having COVID-19.

267 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

51 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 7 of them are medical workers, and 1 is a child.

For the past 24hrs, one death among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 has been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 312 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

5252 patients have recovered.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on October 5, 2020, 10219 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1032 are health care workers and 575 are children.

As of the morning of October 5, 1989 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

20 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

1210 people have recovered  

26 persons have died.
  
14 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 711 are on outpatient treatment.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on October 5, there have been 230236 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 4430 were fatal, 101252 patients have recovered. During the day, 3774 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
