COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of October 16 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, October 15, 352 people sought emergency medical care, 20 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 35 were suspected of having COVID-19.

696 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

156 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 10 of them are medical workers, and 13 are children.

For the past 24hrs, two deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 328 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.   

Overall, as of 9:00 am on October 16, 2020, 11461 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1108 are health care workers and 647 are children.

As of the morning of October 16, 2287 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

20 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod, 1 person died.

1409 people have recovered  

28 persons have died.
  
41 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 809 are on outpatient treatment.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on October 16, there have been 287231 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 5408 were fatal, 121919 patients have recovered. During the day, 5992 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
