The situation regarding COVID-19 in Transcarpathia as 9.00 October 18:
During the past day, October 17, 110 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19.
481 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.
For the past 24hrs, 2 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 331 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.
5732 patients have recovered.
Overall, as of 9:00 am on October 17, 2020, 11736 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1124 are health care workers and 659 are children.

As of the morning of October 18, 2314 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".
17 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.
1428 people have recovered
30 persons have died.
47 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 826 are on outpatient treatment.
