1690 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.
262 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 27 of them are medical workers, and 7 are children.
For the past 24hrs, 6 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 419 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.
Overall, as of 9:00 am on November 8, 2020, 16932 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1514 are health care workers and 898 are children.

As of the morning of November 8, 3354 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".
