COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of June 13 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

As of the morning of June 13, 448 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

3 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

266 people have recovered  

7 persons have died.
  
7 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 168 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 10 visits, 60 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. 

In Transcarpathia, during the past day, June 13, 77 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19

430 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 13, 2020, 1583 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 318 are health care workers and 101 are children. 39 people with the confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died. 15839 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 682 patients have recovered.  

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on June 13, there have been 30506 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 880 were fatal, 13976 patients have recovered. During the day, 753 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

Donetsk region – 290 cases;
Zhytomyr region – 1032 cases;
Transcarpathian region – 1583 cases;

Kyiv – 3838 cases;
Kyiv region – 1961 case;
Lviv region – 2658 cases;
Luhansk region – 56 cases;
Mykolaiv region – 320 cases;
Odesa region – 1081 cases;
Poltava region – 278 cases;
Rivne region – 2297 cases;
Sumy region – 208 cases;
Ternopil region – 1403 cases;
Kharkiv region – 1482 cases;
Kherson region – 179 cases;
Khmelnytsky region – 544 cases;
Chernivtsi region – 3869 cases;
Cherkasy region – 536 cases;
Chernihiv region – 385 cases.

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 13, 2020, the Center has received 991 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, a total of 70512 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases has been received.
