COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of July 24 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, July 23, 406 people sought emergency medical care, 41 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 27 were suspected of having COVID-19.

963 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

65 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 8 of them are medical workers.

For the past 24hrs, 2 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 168 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

1820 patients have recovered.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on July 24, 2020, 4706 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 639 are health care workers and 256 are children.

39995 polymerase chain reaction tests and 6393 ELISA tests for COVID-19 have been carried out.

As of the morning of July 24, 757 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

14 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

419 people have recovered  

13 persons have died.
  
14 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 311 are on outpatient treatment. 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 95 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on July 24, there have been 62823 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1571 were fatal, 34886 patients have recovered. During the day, 972 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
