COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of July 22 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, July 22, 373 people sought emergency medical care, 58 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 30 were suspected of having COVID-19.

963 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

60 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 10 of them are medical workers, and 6 are children.

For the past 24hrs, 3 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 163 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

1717 patients have recovered.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on July 22, 2020, 4578 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 623 are health care workers and 248 are children.

38391 polymerase chain reaction tests and 6073 ELISA tests for COVID-19 have been carried out.

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health 

As of the morning of July 19, 731 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

11 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

411 people have recovered  

13 persons have died.
  
13 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 294 are on outpatient treatment. 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 88 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on July 22, there have been 60995 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1534 were fatal, 33172 patients have recovered. During the day, 829 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
