COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of July 20 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, July 20, 382 people sought emergency medical care, 28 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 21 were suspected of having COVID-19.

644 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

78 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 5 of them are medical workers, and 3 are children.

For the past 24hrs, 5 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 160 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

1650 patients have recovered.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on July 21, 2020, 4518 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 613 are health care workers and 242 are children.

37428 polymerase chain reaction tests and 5763 ELISA tests for COVID-19 have been carried out.

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health

As of the morning of July 21, 720 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

13 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

404 people have recovered  

13 persons have died.

10 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 293 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 96 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.
