COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of August 2 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, August 1, 355 people sought emergency medical care, 29 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 28 were suspected of having COVID-19.

57 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 4 of them are medical workers, 5 are children.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 201 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

2079 patients have recovered.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on August 2, 2020, 50267 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 687 are health care workers and 280 are children.

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health 

As of the morning of August 2, 844 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

6 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod, 1 person died.

454 people have recovered  

15 persons have died.
  
19 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 357 are on outpatient treatment. 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 45 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on August 2, there have been 72168 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1725 were fatal, 39543 patients have recovered. During the day, 1112 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
