COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of August 12 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, August 11, 366 people sought emergency medical care, 19 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 22 were suspected of having COVID-19.

954 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

71 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19.

For the past 24hrs, 3 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 226 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

Overall, as of 9:00 am on August 11, 2020, 5946 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 753 are health care workers and 329 are children.

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health 

As of the morning of August 5, 986 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

24 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

522 people have recovered  

16 persons have died.
  
27 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 421 are on outpatient treatment. 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 100 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on August 12, there have been 84548 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1970 were fatal, 45686 patients have recovered. During the day, 1433 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
