COVID-19: the situation as of July 4 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

As of the morning of July 3, 587 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

12 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

334 people have recovered  

10 persons have died.
  
18 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 225 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 105 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test. 

During the past day, July 3, 395 people sought emergency medical care, 61 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 31 were suspected of having COVID-19.

457 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

88 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 5 of them are medical workers, 2 are children.

For the past 24hrs, no deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. 

999 patients have recovered.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on July 4, 2020, 3214 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 482 are health care workers and 178 are children.

27266 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out.

In Ukraine, 914 new patients with coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been registered in the past 24 hours. In total, 47677 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Ukraine.

During the past 24hrs, 15 have patients died, in total – 1227. The highest number of fatalities was registered in Volyn (4) and Kharkiv (3) regions.

Over the past 24hrs, 597 have people recovered, in total – 2155.

In total, there are 25295 infected currently in Ukraine, which is 302 more than the day before.

Most new cases were recorded in Lviv (176) region, the city of Kyiv (118), Volyn (92), and Rivne (91) regions.
