COVID-19: the situation as of December 6 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

The situation regarding COVID-19 in Transcarpathia as of 9.00 December 6:

15299 Transcarpathians have recovered

During the past day, December 5, 211 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 8 are health care workers and 12 are children.

534 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

For the past 24hrs, 2 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 554 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

Overall, as of 9:00 am on December 6, 2020, 24541 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1998 are health care workers and 1281 are children.

As of the morning of December 6, 5282 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

38 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod. 

3186 people have recovered  

76 persons have died.
  
2020 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized or on outpatient treatment.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on December 6, there have been 813306 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 13588 were fatal, 418581 patients have recovered. During the day, 11590 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
