As of the morning of August 1, 838 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".
13 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

17 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 355 are on outpatient treatment.
In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 61 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.
In Transcarpathia, during the past day, 369 people sought emergency medical care, 30 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 30 were suspected of having COVID-19.

64 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 8 of them are medical workers, and 3 are children.
For the past 24hrs, six deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 198 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

16 people with confirmed diagnosis have died. This is evidenced by the latest data published on the website of the Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
In total, during the entire period of the epidemic in Ukraine, according to the National Security and Defense Council, 71056 cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed. 39308 people have recovered, 1709 people have died.
Most new cases were found Lviv (145), Ivano-Frankivsk (123), Odesa (101) regions, and in the city of Kyiv (101).
