COVID-19 situation as of the morning of May 16 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia and Ukraine

As of the morning of May 16, 319 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

21 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours. 72 coronavirus patients are health care workers. 

57 people have recovered  

6 persons have died.
  
54 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 202 are on outpatient treatment, 

4 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 
 
In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 10 visits, 87 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 321 visits have been made, 1412 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests. 

Situation regarding COVID-19 in Transcarpathia as of 9.00 on May 16:

➡ 159 Transcarpathians have recovered

➡ over the past 24 hours, 42 people have been confirmed to have coronavirus, in total since the beginning of the pandemic, 858 Transcarpathians have been diagnosed with COVID-19, including 196 doctors and 54 children.

➡ 22 people with confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died

➡ As of the morning of May 16, 6652 PCR tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the region, 360 over the past 24 hours. 

As of 9:00 am on May 16, there have been 17858 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 497 were fatal, 4906 patients have recovered. During the day, 528 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
