COVID-19 in Transcarpathia, Uzhgorod, Ukraine as of June 23

"During the past day, June 22, 384 people sought emergency medical care, 12 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 15 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

615 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

103 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 13 of them are medical workers, three are children.

5 persons with the confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 died.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 22, 2020, 2291 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 383 are health care workers and 143 are children. 21489 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 845 patients have recovered.  

Transcarpathian Regional Center of Public Health

As of the morning of June 23, 511 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

9 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

298 people have recovered  

7 persons have died.
  
12 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 194 are on outpatient treatment.

91 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 8 visits, 60 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on June 23, there have been 38074 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1035 were fatal, 16956 patients have recovered. During the day, 833 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 23, 2020, the Center has received 1278 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, a total of 81125 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases has been received.
