COVID-19, in Transcarpathia, Uzhgorod and Ukraine as of the morning of June 15

In Transcarpathia, during the past day, June 14, 436 people sought emergency medical care, 17 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 21 were suspected of having COVID-19, the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

122 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

48 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 11 of them are health care worker and 3 are children.

2 people with the confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 15, 2020, 1680 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 331 are health care workers and 110 are children. 17466 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 686 patients have recovered.  

No new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

As of the morning of June 12, 454 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

266 people have recovered

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on June 15, there have been 31810 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 901 were fatal, 14253 patients have recovered. During the day, 656 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 15, 2020, the Center has received 753 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, a total of 72129 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases has been received.
