224 Transcarpathians have recovered
Over the past 24 hours, 42 people have been confirmed to have coronavirus.
In total since the beginning of the pandemic, 964 Transcarpathians have been diagnosed with COVID-19, including 220 doctors and 58 children.
24 people with confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died
As of the morning of May 21, 8220 PCR tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the region, 420 over the past 24 hours.

As of the morning of May 17, 341 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 15 visits, 129 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 350 visits have been made, 1724 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on May 21, there have been 19706 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 579 were fatal, 6227 patients have recovered. During the day, 476 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

Donetsk region – 138 cases;
Zhytomyr region – 589 cases;

Kirovohrad region – 455 cases;
Kyiv – 2475 cases;
Kyiv region – 1316 cases;
Lviv region – 1175 cases;
Luhansk region – 43 cases;
Mykolaiv region – 274 cases;
Odesa region – 806 cases;
Poltava region – 266 cases;
Rivne region – 1287 cases;
Sumy region – 165 cases;
Ternopil region – 1098 cases;
Kharkiv region – 851 cases;
Kherson region – 173 cases;
Khmelnytsky region – 294 cases;
Chernivtsi region – 2842 cases;
Cherkasy region – 381 cases;
Chernihiv region – 117 cases.
The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 21, 2020, the Center has received 1024 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
