Counterfeit household chemicals were produced in Transcarpathian region (PHOTOS)

Production and sale of counterfeit household chemicals under the guise of world brands was revealed and stopped in Transcarpathia, the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Transcarpathian region reports.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Transcarpathian region, together with the tax police of the State Fiscal Service of Transcarpathian region, continues to expose the enterprises engaged in the manufacture of counterfeit household chemicals under the guise of well-known world brands and tax evasion.

During the investigation of a criminal proceeding on tax evasion in particularly large amounts (Part 3 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), it was established that the officials of one of the enterprises in Transcarpathian region had organized the production of counterfeit household chemicals under the guise of world trade marks, which they would subsequently sell throughout Ukraine.

The locations of storage and sale of the specified counterfeit products have already been established.

During the search in the office and warehouse premises of the company, they found and seized three plastic 1000 liter barrels of a cubic shape and three 200 liter barrels containing yellow, pink and blue liquid (gel), metal containers and tools for manufacturing and bottling of products, cardboard boxes, rolls and sets of labels of different brands, in particular Domestos, ARIEL, Lenor, Persil, Fairy, etc.

Investigative activities under the criminal proceeding are ongoing.
