Consulates General of Hungary and Slovakia in Uzhgorod closed due to the spread of the coronavirus

Earlier, there was the information that the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, due to the coronavirus, reduced the hours for the reception of citizens. Mondays and Thursdays were set as the only reception days.
And now there was an urgent announcement that the Consulate had closed for an indefinite period.
Citizens will be informed about the readiness of the previously submitted visa application documents by the consular staff via SMS or email, – the Consulate of Hungary informed.
In its turn, the Consulate General of Slovakia in Uzhgorod also informed that due to the coronavirus, the Consulate would not be accepting documents for Schengen and national visas.
The Consulate of Slovakia also asked the persons that have been in the countries where coronavirus has been recorded not to visit the consulate for 14 days.
