Today, during a press conference, the head of the staff training office of the Personnel Department of the State Border Guard Service Administration, Major General Arthur Korol noted that in 2016 the State Border Guards Service of Ukraine resumes staffing of its units and bodies with conscripts. "In connection with the formation of new units to perform tasks in the ATO area, contract soldiers will be tranferred from peaceful area, and conscripts will be appointed instead of them" – he added.
In addition, Arthur Korol said that "conscripts will not serve in the ATO area, they will serve on a territorial basis."
